Prior to joining Fieger, Fieger, Kenney, Johnson & Giroux in 2002, Johnson spent over a decade defending nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals and foster care homes against claims of abuse and neglect. At Fieger Law, he used the insight he gained as a defense lawyer to obtain justice for plaintiffs.
He graduated with honors from James Madison College at Michigan State University in 1986. He worked his way through college by working as an orderly at Ingham Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan for three years.
Johnson graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1989 and began his career at Garan, Lucow & Miller in Detroit under Albert Miller. He later formed a private practice with his colleague, Joseph Crystal and then worked briefly for Campbell, O’Brien and Mistele practicing some business law.
Over the years Johnson went up against attorneys from FFKJG in a couple dozen cases. Having seen Johnson’s work ethic over the years, Geoffrey Fieger knew he was up to the task of working in one of the states most intense and high profile firms.
After 20 years of practice, 7 at the Fieger Law firm, Johnson has opened his own practice continuing his work as a litigation specialist on behalf of injured people and attorneys who need help in protecting the rights of the injured whether at the trial level or on appeal.
